Hello everyone !!!

Jill and I are very proud to introduce the new Ward IV website and newsletter format.   It’s taken awhile for us to make up our minds about exactly what we wanted.  Our Information Technology staff at City Hall were enormously patient.   Our big thanks to Dan Schmick and Christine Martinez, two very talented staff members.  We finally got it down, but want you to send us comments about the ease of navigation and the relevance of the content if you have a minute.   Get to it by going to northglenn.org and going to “eGovernment” on the left.   A drop-menu will show up, and the last item is “electronic newsletters”.  Click on that and the four available Ward newsletters will appear.   Click on “@ Home in Ward IV” and you’re there !!! If you’re receiving this newsletter, you’re obviously already enrolled and will continue to receive the newsletter.  But . .take a look at the new site .   Let me just briefly describe the highlights of the new "@ Home in Ward IV":
  1. We’ve added a survey option . . . give us your opinion regarding the questions we’re interested in.   This is a great way for us to gather real numbers and should assist us in better representing you.   We’ll publish results when we have a reasonable number of responses and, just as important, what we’ll do with the information.
  2. We’ve added a link that will provide Ward IV statistics regarding code enforcement and selected crime data.
  3. We’ve added a photo gallery so that we can share pictures we’ve taken around the ward, or those taken by staff members at city events.    We’d love to have you send us pictures you’d like for others to enjoy.   Weddings, new babies, cute pets, etc. are all welcome.

Other areas of the site are pretty self-explanatory, and we encourage you to click on each link of the site to see what’s available.    Of course, this newsletter is still a feature and won’t change.   Please encourage fellow citizens to subscribe, not only to Ward IV’s newsletter, but also to the ones hosted by Council in the other Wards in the city.  The newsletter subscription numbers have grown dramatically, so we feel like this is a method of communication that is well-received and beneficial to citizens in Northglenn.
We will follow this newsletter up with another shortly, since once again, there’s a lot going on . . . .

At your service, AND Happy Spring !!
