City Expands Services to Handle Tree Damage Caused by Snow

Northglenn, Co – The recent snowstorm that hit the metro area on Thursday, October 26 has caused tree damage in spots throughout the City. To assist Northglenn residents in disposing of the broken tree limbs, the City is offering residents the following disposal options:
Tree Limb Recycling – Drop off your damaged tree limbs on Saturday, October 28 and Saturday, November 4 at the tree branch-recycling center, located at 12301 Claude Court. Extended operating hours are from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to assist City residents.
Regular Trash Collection – On your normal trash collection day tree limbs placed at the curb bundled in lengths not to exceed 48 inches and weighing no more than 40 pounds will be collected. Over the next four weeks, the City will waive the 12-bag trash limit for tree limbs.

Residents are responsible for limb removal on their property. The City will address limbs on public property and public rights of ways. For more information, contact 303-450-4004 or visit www.northglenn.org for updates during the storm season.
