Greetings Ward 1 Residents, As the City of Northglenn plans a wonderful July 4th celebration, there is a call out to the citizenry to help us recognize those from our hometown of Northglenn, Colorado serving in the military. Please see the following announcement and contact our staff if you have friends or family members that we may be able to recognize in our effort to honor those serving our nation. Thank you…Sheri Paiz A TRIBUTE TO NORTHGLENN MILITARY HEROES During the 4th of July celebration, the City of Northglenn will express its gratitude to members of the U.S. Armed Forces who are currently serving our country. This tribute to our military heroes honors those soldiers who have risked their lives in the interest of preserving our freedom. We will publicly recognize personnel who have served in Afghanistan or Iraq or are current active duty personnel at 7:30 p.m. on stage. We will recognize all names received, whether or not the service member will be present. Please give us the name of your Northglenn family member or friend that you would like to salute for their service and we will send you more information. The deadline for nominations is July 1.
